This piece was made in a semester-long collaboration between the Dance, Design for Stage and Film, and Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Departments at NYU Tisch. 

We focused on the story of Medusa being cursed by Athena, specifically concentrating on the relationship between Medusa and Athena and not the event of "betrayal." At the beginning of the piece, Medusa is praying to Athena. When the two finally meet, Athena seems to comfort her priestess, but turns on her in a fit of rage. Medusa destroys the remnants of the temple at the conclusion of the piece.
