Summer 2022, I was Head Electrician for Cedar Point Amusement Park’s largest outdoor performance venue—Celebration Stage in Sandusky, Ohio. At the height of Cedar Point’s live outdoor performance season, Celebration Stage featured three shows daily:
- Pump Up! Pep Rally
- Peanuts Block Party
- Cedar Point Spectacular! (150th Anniversary Show)
Our team maintained the lighting rig, streamer cannons, and CO2 tanks through the summer. Our team also coordinated daily with the pyrotechnics crew. Because our stage was exposed to the elements, I created inclement weather protocols for extreme weather conditions.
